We had a huge amount of fun creating this award-winning campaign for Bristol Waste. After a test run in a targeted area, correct food disposal rose by over 80%… leading to a city-wide roll out!
Every Bristol resident received facial features sticker sheets through their letterboxes, as well as an information leaflet. They’d also wake up to find their black refuse bins taped gorilla-style by mysterious campaigners during the night!
Bristolians were encouraged to turn their brown food bins into characters (using the sticker sheets) and then to ‘feed their faces’ with leftovers… thus ‘slimming their waste’ by not sending it to landfill at the same time. Clever!
